EU has to boost employment levels to cope with the crisis
Csaba Őry MEP (EPP, HU), EPP Group coordinator in the Employment and Social Affairs Committee of the European Parliament has endorsed today the 2012 employment guidelines at the plenary debate in Strasbourg. However, as rapporteur for the 'original', 2010 employment guidelines, MEP Őry also underlined several problems and challenges that the European Union is still facing concerning the crisis.

The Employment and Social Affairs Committee of the European Parliament voted on 13th February 2012 at an extraordinary meeting on the opinions of Csaba Őry MEP (EPP, HU) concerning the 2010 discharge of 4 EU agencies in the Committee's merit, namely the European Training Foundation (ETF), European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (EUROFOUND), European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (CEDEFOP) and the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA).
